** Summer Discount prices apply to “Green” or “Unseasoned” wood. Properly stored, this wood will be dry and ready to burn for winter. Not all wood types will be available for “Green” sales and changes to availability can occur throughout the Summer Discount period.

PINE   

– Soft wood

– Fast burning

– Moderate heat output

 

OLD MAN PINE   

– Soft wood

– Slower burning than pine. This is  due to it being aged approx 30yrs + and contains a higher resin content

– Moderate to high heat output

 

BLUE GUM 

– Hard wood

– High heat output

– Slow burning

 

MACROCARPA    

– Soft wood

– Slow burning

– Moderate to high heat output

– Has a tendency to spark, not suitable for open fires

 

PINE / BLUE GUM MIX 

– 50/50 Mix of Pine and Blue Gum

– Use the Pine to get your fire started with a good hot base then use the Blue Gum to maintain a longer and hotter heat output.

 

OLD  MAN PINE / BLUE GUM MIX 

– 50/50 Mix of Old Man Pine and Blue Gum

– Use the Old Man Pine to get your fire started with a good hot base then use the Oregon to maintain a longer and hotter heat output.
